It’s time to meet yet another member of the small and talented team of ladies here at Bleu. Say hello to Meghann Stephenson, our 20-something, Brooklyn-based, Contributing Editor. Meghann likes to write about all things wellness, healthy and delicious food, and natural beauty. That is, of course, when she’s not too busy planning her upcoming wedding or working as a freelance illustrator (her work is unreal, you should hire her!) and creative consultant. She’s also been developing her latest venture and brand M. Finley Studio — a collection of stunning scarves she’s created and is launching in the near future. There’s no argument that Meghann brings a plethora of talent to our table, but she’s also cat-mom to one of the world’s cutest felines, an oatmeal master in the kitchen, and she has a knack for interiors — her Williamsburg apartment is a literal goals. Tell us a bit about yourself. “I grew up in Virginia just outside DC. I moved to New York to study illustration at Parsons. I live with my fiance Bono and our cat Lewis in Williamsburg.”
How did you land your role at Bleu? “James and I met on instagram! I’ve actually followed her Bleubird blog for years.”
Coffee or tea? How do you take it? “Black iced coffee year round.”
Favorite local cup? “Blue Bottle or Rise.”
What’s your sign? “Scorpio.”
Breakfast or brunch? “Breakfast, not brunch because you have to wait an hour to be seated for brunch in New York.”

One place in New York everyone must visit? “Ah, I can’t pick! There’s so much of everything here. If I had to choose, to eat, Miss Ada. For nature, Fort Greene Park. And for a drink, Elsa.”
How do you spend a day off duty? “Sleep in, have coffee and breakfast in bed. Work out for a bit and maybe run some errands in the city or around the neighborhood. Cook a big dinner and watch a movie.”
