The Up & Coming Brands You Need To Know About According To Reese Blutstein

For many of us, Instagram is much more than keeping tabs on distant family and old friends from afar. The portable mega-platform serves as a major source of inspiration that comes in all forms, colors, shapes, and sizes, right in the palm of our hands. I am guilty of spending a God forbid amount of time staring into my phone, seeking and sparking newfound ideas, be it interior set-ups and unique home decor, mouth watering plates of food and fresh recipes to field-test on my family and friends, or hunting down the latest trends, fashion labels, and runway looks. Don’t get me wrong, I love spying photos from my cousin’s wedding bash that I, sadly, wasn’t able to attend and to see my long-distance friends’ newest, bouncing bundle of joy, while thumbing through my feed. But, I will openly admit to you that I am primarily here for the mindless act of scrolling the never-ending inspiration that Instagram beholds.

Our friend Reese Blutstein can surely relate. Her career was birthed on Instagram and continues to grow at a rapid pace in the IG fashion community. Here, we asked her to share the lesser known, but greatly deserving of high praise brands she’s discovered via the app, and boy did she deliver. Our “want list” of things we would buy if we didn’t have bills and a mortgage payment is now longer than ever.

Lorod: I love how different this line is compared to what I have been seeing recently. I love the Zip-Through Jeans. I wear them all the time.

Collina Strada: Collina is an incredible designer and namesake brand because she doesn’t follow any trends and just creates what she likes. I’m obsessed with her sweatshirts. Couldn’t live without them!

Beaufille: Beaufille makes really beautiful clothes and I love all of the fabric choices. One must-have piece would be the black Alverez Dress.

Westley Austin: A really cool brand known for its cool fabric and graphics. I love the black leather pants. They have a fun blue patch on the back that says “LSD did a number on me.” They just make simple things a lot cooler.

Kwaidan Editions: This brand makes really cool structured pieces and I love the play on color! Right now, I want their flower power shirt that is yellow, orange, white, black and brown. It’s so fun!

Gabriel For Sach: Gabriel For Sach makes really cool bags and purses. I love and carry the blue plaid Mina bag, which is sold out now, but all of them are really nice.
